3 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting veteran free-agent pass-rusher Melvin Ingram for a visit on Monday, according to a source. Ingram has also received interest from the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins. The Steelers have a big need for an edge rusher after Bud Dupree left this offseason, and Ingram, a three-time Pro Bowler, could fit Pittsburgh's defense nicely. The 32-year-old played in just seven games due to injury in his fourth and final season with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2020, but he had five straight seasons before that with at least seven sacks. The Steelers are also interested in veteran pass-rusher Justin Houston. It's likely that they'll sign one of Ingram or Houston before training camp begins this month.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
