Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger Hitting The Panic Button?
3 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers offense and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger have looked a lot like the mess that was the second half of last season, but offensive coordinator Matt Canada isn't ready to panic after three games and a 1-2 start. "We're gonna stick with what we're doing," Canada said. The offense has only four touchdowns in three games, and they haven't scored yet in the first quarter. Two rookie starters on a shaky offensive line hasn't helped matters. Roethlisberger is already playing through injury and has three touchdowns and three picks. His 6.2 yards per attempt rank 25th in the league, and he hasn't been on the same page very often with his receivers. Until something changes, Big Ben will be a low-end QB2.
