1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (head) is "somewhat" still dealing with migraine issues, according to manager Buck Showalter, including suffering from additional ones on a "lesser scale" this week. It's likely that Marte will seek a second opinion after the imminent birth of his child. It was originally believed that the 34-year-old could return from the injured list when eligible on Thursday, but that's not happening, and there remains no timetable for his return. Fantasy managers are going to have to remain patient but Marte is worthy of stashing in all fantasy leagues for his speed (24 stolen bases). Until he's back, the right-handed-hitting Mark Canha should continue to see increased playing time in Queens.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
