Starling Marte Back In Camp Friday
4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Starling Marte was back in summer camp on Friday after he had missed the last three days of workouts, according to outfielder David Peralta. It's unclear if Marte tested positive for COVID-19 or came in contact with someone who did, but either way, he's back in camp and looks ready to go for the start of the regular season in two weeks. Marte, 31, set career highs in home runs (23), RBI (82), runs scored (97) and OPS (.845) while slashing .295/.342/.503 with 25 stolen bases in his final season in Pittsburgh before being dealt to Arizona in the offseason. He'll be joining a better lineup and more hitter-friendly home environment, making him worth scooping up in the early rounds as a top-10 fantasy outfielder. Marte's current ADP sits at 28.
