Florida Panthers goaltender Spencer Knight transformed into a brick wall Wednesday night, stopping 40 shots in a 3-0 win over Carolina. He became the fifth netminder in NHL history with a 40-save shutout before turning 22. Nearly half (19) of his saves came in the third period when the Hurricanes threw everything at him to get back in the game. Knight has looked very sharp early on in the season, going 5-1-0 with a 2.18 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage. He hasn't yet started three games in a row, so it's going to be interesting to see how head coach Paul Maurice handles things for Saturday's matchup against Edmonton. Sergei Bobrovsky has struggled this season and owns a losing record after eight appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
