Florida Panthers goaltender Spencer Knight (personal) is expected to be back with the team for the start of next season. The 22-year-old entered the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program in February and missed the end of the season, including the team's run to the Stanley Cup Finals. "He's doing well and we expect him back in the fold in the fall," Panthers general manager Bill Zito said Wednesday. Knight made 19 starts in 2022-23 and posted a 9-8-3 record with a 3.18 goals-against average, a .901 save percentage, and one shutout. He's set to begin the first season of a three-year, $13.5 million extension signed with the Panthers last September.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
