6 years agoNew England Patriots rookie running back Sony Michel (knee) made his first appearance at practice on Monday since Aug. 1. Michel had a knee scope done on his knee but should be ready for Week 1. However, he missed valuable repetitions in training camp and the preseason, so don't expect him to have much of a role to begin the year in New England's crowded backfield. Rex Burkhead remains the safest pick to lead this backfield in touches, but it could be a crapshoot on a week-to-week basis. Michel is best targeted in the first round of dynasty leagues, but he could also have some RB3/flex appeal in standard leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
