1 year agoThe two best candidates to be Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' No. 2 target behind tight end Travis Kelce this year are wide receivers Skyy Moore and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, in the opinion of The Athletic's Nate Taylor. Moore is expected to replace JuJu Smith-Schuster as the team's slot receiver, with Valdes-Scantling being the team's best deep-ball threat. If Moore can stay healthy, Taylor writes that an argument can be made that Mahomes will target him the most among the team's receivers. Kadarius Toney (knee) has had trouble staying on the field so far in his career and could be limited in the early going, so don't be surprised if the 22-year-old Moore gets off to a strong start in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
