Sean Strickland Suffers Lopsided Decision Loss At UFC 312
Sean Strickland suffered a decision loss to Dricus Du Plessis in the main event of UFC 312 for the middleweight title. Strickland and Du Plessis were rematching from their January 2024 fight which Du Plessis won by split decision to become the new champ. In the rematch, Strickland was hesitant on the feet as the champ landed the better shots, while Strickland had his nose broken in the fourth round. With the loss, Strickland fell to 29-7 and is 16-7 in the UFC.
