After attempting to trade cornerback Sidney Jones at the deadline on Tuesday, the Seattle Seahawks waived him. Jones, a second-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017 out of the University of Washington, will hit the open market after playing in just three games in his second season in Seattle. He played just 45 defensive snaps in those three contests and had five tackles (four solo). The 26-year-old also missed the Week 8 win over the New York Giants due to a groin injury, so he'll need to prove his health in order to latch on with another club. Jones had a career-high 66 tackles (45 solo) and 10 passes defensed in 16 games (11 starts) in his first year with the Seahawks in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
