Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that offensive tackles Charles Cross (toe) and Abe Lucas (knee) are "hurting" and that it will be hard for them to play in Week 2 against the Detroit Lions. Carroll also said it's probably unrealistic for newly signed Jason Peters to be ready to play by this Sunday. The Seahawks are also signing offensive lineman Raiqwon O'Neal off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice squad. Cross was carted off in the Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Rams with a sprained right big toe, and Lucas was placed on Injured Reserve, so he'll have to miss the next four games. The Seahawks finished last week's loss with Stone Forsythe at left tackle and Jake Curhan at right tackle. With Seattle without both of their starting tackles, the offense could struggle for consistency for the second straight week, and Detroit's pass-rushers could be pinning their ears back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
