The Seattle Seahawks re-signed pass-rusher Benson Mayowa to a two-year deal with a maximum value of $8.8 million, according to a source. The deal includes $4.61 million guaranteed in the first year. The team also brought back defensive lineman Kerry Hyder on a three-year, $16.5 million deal. Both players will turn 30 before next season. Hyder had a career-high 8.5 sacks in 16 games with the San Francisco 49ers last year. He became a starter due to injuries to Nick Bosa and Dee Ford. Hyder has 18.5 sacks since entering the league in 2014. Mayowa had six sacks, seven tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and nine QB hits in 13 games for Seattle in 2020, missing three games with an ankle injury. He made nine starts but saw a dip in playing time after the team traded for Carlos Dunlap, who became their starter.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
