Seahawks Host Jason Peters For Visit
3 months agoThe Seattle Seahawks hosted free-agent offensive tackle Jason Peters for a visit on Tuesday. Peters has familiarity with the team after having played in eight games for the Seahawks in 2023. The move comes as the Seahawks were forced to put offensive tackle George Fant (knee) on injured reserve. The Seahawks O-line is already banged up without preferred starting tackle Abraham Lucas (knee). The 42-year-old Peters has had a long and very successful NFL career. He made his mark with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2009 to 2020. He has spent the last couple of years bouncing around the league as a fill-in starter for the Seahawks and the Dallas Cowboys. The injuries along the O-line negatively affect the Seahawks' skill players. Peters may be able to provide depth but he is not the player he used to be. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on this situation to make sure that the O-line can get healthy.
