Saquon Barkley Feeling Much Better
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (knee) said he's feeling much better this offseason. "I feel a lot better than I felt at this point last year. My body feels good. I'm trusting my knee again," Barkley said. Most players are often quoted as saying they feel like they're in the best shape of their life at this time of year, but it's notable for Barkley, who hasn't played a full season due to injuries since his rookie year in 2018. The 25-year-old former second overall pick had two 1,000-yard seasons in his first two years before tearing his ACL in 2020. He wasn't the same in New York's terrible offense last year, gaining 593 yards with two touchdowns on 162 carries over 13 games. Barkley is a health risk, but if he can stay healthy, he still has high-end RB1 talent.
