5 months agoBoston Red Sox catcher Sandy Leon finished 3-for-3 for two runs batted in during Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Yankees. RBI singles in the second and fourth innings gave Leon his ninth and 10th RBI of the year. It was just his second multi-hit game of the season, after beginning the year in Triple-A, and it raised his average to .216. The defensive-minded backstop draws just a handful of starts a week, and doesn't hold any fantasy value behind teammate Christian Vazquez who is hitting .297 with seven homers, and 20 RBI.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
