Sharks Pick Up Eighth Consecutive Win
                
        
        On Monday night, the San Jose Sharks found a shootout win over the Chicago Blackhawks to move to eight consecutive wins. Evander Kane was the star of the night, finding one goal on 10 shots, four hits and one block in 21:54 of ice time. The Sharks fourth line came to play with everyone on the line finding a point. Jannik Hansen set up Marcus Sorensen for the first goal of the game. In the third period, Barclay Goodrow set up Tomas Hertl for the go-ahead goal that kept them ahead for only two minutes. Kevin Labanc ended the game with a filthy shootout goal to move the Sharks closer to securing a playoff spot. They are now at 97 points, six above the LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks and only six points behind first-place Vegas.
