Sharks Bounce Back to Close Road Trip
6 years agoThe San Jose Sharks picked up a 3-1 win against the Montreal Canadiens to snap a four-game losing streak. Goalie Martin Jones made some impressive saves, stopping 39 of the 40 shots he faced. The first goal of the night came from Justin Braun on a turnover, followed by a power-play goal from Brent Burns. The only spark for the Canadiens came from defenseman Jeff Petry, who scored the lone goal on five shots. Joe Pavelski found his 17th goal of the season towards the end of the second period, now contributing points in four consecutive games. Next up the Sharks will travel home to try to continue finding their chemistry against the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday.
