Putting continues to be an issue for 27-year-old Sam Stevens, as he's lost strokes on the greens in nine of his last 10 events on the PGA Tour. The Texas native made a splash early in 2023, placing third and second in consecutive tournaments as March turned to April. Since then, Stevens has made the cut in seven of his 10 events, but he was unable to place any higher than 29th (Charles Schwab Challenge). While spike weeks off-the-tee and on approach display some upside in Stevens' game, it's impossible to trust him in his 3M Open debut with how poor his putting has been. Maybe we'll be interested in him if he shows better form coming into Minnesota this time next year.--Tommy Bell
