4 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold was seen on social media throwing passes to New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley. Players have had to get creative this offseason with no in-person organized team activities or minicamps thanks to the coronavirus, so it's not a surprise to see Darnold throwing with a player from another team. The 23-year-old signal-caller is trying to take the next step in his third NFL season after a disappointing 2019 campaign in which he was derailed by mononucleosis midway through the year. That will be easier to accomplish with an improved offensive line, but there remain questions about Darnold's offensive weapons through the air. Until we have evidence that Darnold is the real deal, fantasy owners will treat him as a low-end QB2 with some upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
