New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles said that rookie quarterback Sam Darnold will be allowed to win the starting gig in training camp, even though Bowles already stated that Josh McCown is the starter. If Darnold is the better quarterback in training camp, the Jets could elect to go with him right off the bat in Week 1. Given the fact that Darnold is so young, though, we'd bet against that, even though he was drafted as the franchise QB.
