2 years agoThe Carolina Panthers are still searching for their next quarterback. The team could choose to re-sign Sam Darnold as a bridge option, but he isn't the long-term answer. But if the Panthers go with a signal-caller early in this year's draft, it wouldn't be surprising if Darnold moved on. The 25-year-old didn't make his 2022 season debut until Week 12 due to injury, but he closed out the season as the team's starter in the final six games. Darnold went 82-for-140 for 1,143 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions in his six starts. The former third overall pick by the New York Jets in 2018 hasn't panned out as a starter in the NFL in his five seasons, and he'll likely be relegated to backup duties if he moves on from Carolina.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
