Sal Frelick Remains Out With Knee Injury
Sal Frelick (knee) was pulled from the fourth inning of Saturday's win over the Washington Nationals due to a flare-up of soreness in his surgically-repaired left knee, and he will sit out of Sunday's series finale in D.C. Newly-acquired outfielder Brandon Lockridge will make the start in right field and will hit eighth against Nationals right-hander Brad Lord. It remains to be seen if Frelick can return for Monday's series opener against the Atlanta Braves, and this very well could turn into something that lands him on the injured list. The 25-year-old is much more valuable to the Brew Crew in real life than in fantasy, and Lockridge doesn't really move the fantasy needle, either, outside of some speed for those in deep NL-only leagues. Lockridge hit .216 (19-for-88) with no homers, five RBI and eight steals in 47 games for the Padres earlier this year.
