Sal Frelick Available Off the Bench on Tuesday
Sal Frelick (knee) remains out of the team's starting lineup for Tuesday's contest in Atlanta against the Braves, but he has responded well to treatment and is available off the bench at Truist Park, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. Frelick is dealing with soreness in his left knee and will be missing his third straight start, although it sounds like he won't have to go on the injured list and could return as soon as Wednesday in Atlanta. The Brewers do have an off day coming on Thursday, though, so Milwaukee could play it safe and hold Frelick out until Friday. The 25-year-old former first-rounder is having a breakout year for the first-place Brewers, slashing .296/.353/.412 with a .765 OPS, eight home runs, 41 RBI, 49 runs and 17 stolen bases in 98 games. Frelick is mainly attractive in fantasy for his speed.
