The New Orleans Saints are interviewing San Francisco 49ers assistant head coach Brandon Staley and Philadelphia Eagles defensive-backs coach Christian Parker for their defensive-coordinator job on Sunday, according to a source. The Saints also met with Minnesota Vikings defensive-backs coach Daronte Jones for the same job on Saturday. The defensive-coordinator role will be a big hire for first-time head coach Kellen Moore, who has an offensive background after already serving as an offensive coordinator for three different teams. Staley, who was the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers from 2021-23, is considered the front-runner for the job. Moore was Staley's offensive coordinator in 2021. The 33-year-old Parker was with the Denver Broncos from 2021-23 as a defensive-backs coach before joining the Eagles to help them win a Super Bowl in 2024.--Keith Hernandez
