NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Monday that the New Orleans Saints are expected to have interest in Mike McCarthy for their head-coach opening after the Dallas Cowboys chose not to extend him a new contract. The Chicago Bears requested to interview McCarthy last week, but the Cowboys declined the request. Now that McCarthy is now a free agent, he'll most likely interview with the Bears and Saints, with other teams potentially jumping into the mix. During his five seasons as the head coach of the Cowboys, McCarthy went 49-35, but his 1-3 record in the postseason was his undoing. With a Super Bowl ring to his name as a member of the Green Bay Packers, teams looking for a head coach moving forward should have plenty of interest in McCarthy. Stay tuned for more news on interview requests for the veteran coach.--Keith Hernandez
