4 years agoThe New Orleans Saints could be an "interesting landing spot" for free-agent quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and recently released quarterback Chase Daniel, according to the NFL Network's Jane Slater. In other offensive news on Tuesday, New Orleans agreed to terms on an undisclosed deal with Panthers fullback Alex Armah. It's clear that Trubisky won't return to the Bears after they signed Andy Dalton on Tuesday. Trubisky disappointed after being the second overall pick in 2017. He has some dual-threat abilities, but his inconsistent performances and accuracy issues ultimately ruined his chances of becoming a fantasy relevant signal-caller. As of right now in New Orleans after Drew Brees retired, Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill are set to compete for the starting job in training camp.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
