2 years agoThe Tennessee Titans have downgraded quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle, illness) to out for Week 8 against the Houston Texans, and he won't travel with the team. Rookie third-rounder Malik Willis will now make his first career NFL start on Sunday after taking all the starter's repetitions in practice this week. Tannehill sprained his ankle in the Week 7 win over the Indianapolis Colts and is also dealing with an illness, and it remains to be seen if he'll be able to return to action in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs on the road. Logan Woodside will back up Willis in his first start. The Titans will surely lean heavily on their ground game against Houston, but Willis could actually prove to be an upgrade in the passing game over Tannehill. Willis has more mobility as well, but he struggled in the preseason and fantasy managers should temper expectations in his first career start.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
