Toronto Maple Leafs center Ryan O'Reilly scored two quick goals at the start of the game and completed his fourth career hat trick with an empty-netter in Tuesday's 6-3 win over Buffalo. He also had an assist in the meeting with his former team. O'Reilly became the ninth player ever to score a hat trick within his first three games for the Maple Leafs. He has made a very encouraging start to life at his new club with five points in three games.
