Ryan Jeffers Homers In Loss To Arizona Tuesday
6 months agoMinnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers had a big night at the plate in a 5-4 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Jeffers went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk but it wasn't quite enough in the one-run loss. The veteran catcher's seventh-inning blast tied the game at 4-4. Jeffers is providing nice power numbers for a catcher this season, hitting .236 with 15 doubles, 13 homers, 30 runs, 41 RBI, and two steals across 220 at-bats. He is just one homer shy of tying his previous career-high of 14, a number he reached both in 2021 and 2023.
