Ryan Fitzpatrick Intends To Return For 17th Season
4 years agoMiami Dolphins impending free-agent quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed a career-high 68.5 percent of his passes for 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions in nine appearances in 2020, and the 38-year-old journeyman QB said he wants to play in a 17th season. With the quarterback market so in flux heading into this offseason, there could be a decent amount of suitors looking for a veteran signal-caller like Fitz to help bridge the gap to a young QB. Fitzpatrick has played for eight NFL teams in his 16 years, and he could make it nine teams with the Dolphins moving forward with Tua Tagovailoa. While the grizzled veteran can spin magic here and there, he's not a viable fantasy starter in single-QB leagues if he gets another chance somewhere else next season.
