Russell Wilson Wants To Be Involved In Personnel Decisions
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson said he wants to have a more prominent voice in the team's day-to-day operations in regards to personnel decisions. "I want to be involved," Wilson said. "At the end of the day, it's your legacy, your team's legacy. It helps to be involved more. That dialogue should happen more often." Wilson used Tom Brady's situation in Tampa and how the team added players that he trusted as an example. The star quarterback has asked before to be more involved in the hiring process of offensive coaches, so this isn't exactly new for Wilson. He also petitioned for Seattle to add receiver Antonio Brown before the Bucs signed him for the 2020 season. It remains to be seen if Wilson will get his wish, but he remains a high-end QB1 for fantasy managers despite the offense falling off late last season after a scorching-hot start.
