Russell Wilson Throws For 286 Yards, One Touchdown
2 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson went 21-for-42 for 286 yards in the 17-10 Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The 286 yards were his second-highest total of the season, but he threw only one touchdown, was intercepted once and was sacked six times for 38 yards. Wilson ran the ball seven times for just eight yards. It didn't help that he lost one of his favorite targets, receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle), to an injury early in the first half. The 33-year-old continued to mostly run for his life behind a bad offensive line while dinking and dunking, averaging a weak 6.8 yards per attempt. It was a very mediocre effort against a defense that had been friendly to QBs this season. Wilson could have better luck in a Week 11 rematch against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders, but he can't be trusted as much more than a midrange QB2 in fantasy.
