Rudy Gobert 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoUtah Jazz center Rudy Gobert has cemented himself as an efficient scoring threat down low and an elite rim protector which are scarce as ever in fantasy these days. With Gobert’s ability to block shots (2.3 a night in 2018-19) and 66.9% field-goal percentage last season, Gobert finished in the top-20 in all formats. He sported career highs with 15.9 points and 12.9 rebounds and played 81 games this past season anchoring the Jazz’s elite defense. With Derrick Favors out of town, we should see Gobert’s minutes (31.8 a night) inch up and he could get even more easy looks with the addition of Mike Conley and sharpshooter Bojan Bogdanovic. He is not a flashy player to own, but taking him in the second round is no brainer as he will provide exactly what you expect and is the best in the business for “big-man” numbers for any squad.
