Per Darren Urban of the team, the Arizona Cardinals are signing free-agent offensive lineman Royce Newman to a one-year contract. The financial details have not yet been disclosed. Newman, a four-year pro, was selected in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers -- spending three seasons there before a one-year spell with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024. He logged just three snaps with the Bucs last season. The 27-year-old is the second acquisition for Tampa Bay on their offensive front, joining fellow offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum. Currently, Newman is listed as the team's unofficial starter at right guard on their depth chart. This status may change in the coming months.--Alex Ciulla
