Royce Freeman Must Be Able To Pass Protect
6 years agoDenver Broncos rookie running back Royce Freeman has looked good with the ball in his hands so far this preseason, but in order for him to see more playing time in the regular season he must improve his pass protection. The Broncos are high on Freeman, and general manager John Elway said "we haven't had a guy like him in a while." Freeman is expected to see more touches as the season wears on, but if he can improve his blocking in pass protection, he could see even more time over Devontae Booker sooner. Freeman is the back to own in Denver for fantasy, and he could be an RB3/flex option as early as Week 1.
