1 year agoThe Kansas City Royals reinstated right-hander Brady Singer (arm) from the paternity list on Monday and optioned infielder Samad Taylor to Triple-A Omaha in a corresponding move. Singer is on track to make his next start on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox. In addition to being away from the team for the birth of his child, Singer hasn't pitched since Aug. 25 due to arm fatigue. Even though the White Sox are a great matchup in fantasy, the 27-year-old will come with some extra risk after the longer-than-usual layoff. Singer struggled in his previous two starts against the Cubs and Mariners, allowing 10 runs (eight earned) on 18 hits (three home runs) while walking three and striking out nine in 7 2/3 innings.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
