Ross Fisher made the cut at last week's PGA Championship. Opening rounds of 68 and 69 put the Englishman in nice position to make a run, but Fisher struggled over the weekend and tumbled into a tie for 65th place. Despite the bad finish, the made cut is another sign of improvement for the Euro Tour veteran who had previously scored a T17 at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational two weeks ago. Fisher had been squarely in contention to make the European Ryder Cup squad, but his poor play this season has severely hurt his chances. He is not in the field for this week's Wyndham Championship. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
