Rory McIlroy, currently ranked eighth in the World Golf Rankings, struggled mightily at the Honda Classic, finishing tied for 59th and never once breaking par. In fact, he never shot better than two-over par for the tournament. His focus seems to be on the Masters, as that appears next on his schedule. While he’s played extremely well on the European Tour, finishing second and third in consecutive tournaments, the same can’t be said for the PGA Tour, as he’s finished no better than a tie for 20th at the Genesis Open. With a month before the Masters, look for McIlroy to have his game as sharp as you will see it all season long.--Drake Peaugh
