5 years agoChicago Bears linebacker Roquan Smith, defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (knee) and Mike Davis (personal) are all inactive for Week 4 against the Vikings. It's unclear why Smith is unavailable for this game, as he wasn't listed on the team's final injury report. Either way, with both he and Hicks out on Sunday, it's bad news for the Bears Defense and great news for Vikings running back Dalvin Cook on the road in a hostile environment. Chicago's defense/special teams remains a strong start against Minnesota's ground-and-pound style, however. Davis' absence means that rookie David Montgomery and Tarik Cohen should have the backfield all to themselves, although Davis' role has shrunk since the season opener.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
