Ronald Acuna Jr. Returns As Designated Hitter
3 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. is back in the starting lineup as the designated hitter and is batting in his usual leadoff spot on Thursday against Colorado Rockies left-hander Austin Gomber. Acuna was held out of Wednesday's game with undisclosed soreness, and it's unknown if it was related to a quadriceps injury that kept him out for three straight games last week. In any event, the 24-year-old superstar is back in the lineup, and fantasy managers need to return him to their starting lineups immediately. Injuries have limited him to just 81 at-bats in 2022, but he's been excellent when on the field, hitting .284/.394/.432 with an .826 OPS, two home runs, 10 RBI, 13 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 22 games.
