Ronald Acuna Jr. Hits Another Mammoth Homer
4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. hit a 481-foot home run in the team's 5-0 win over the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday, the second-longest home run tracked in the big leagues this year. His fifth-inning homer came off the bat at 111.9 mph and halted a small slump he had been in since returning from a minor abdominal injury. Acuna now has eight home runs on the season, tying him with the Phillies' Rhys Hoskins for the most in baseball. It was Acuna's first homer since April 15, so his fantasy managers are hoping that he begins to heat back up. Acuna also walked once and struck out twice in five plate appearances, and he's now hitting .355/.457/.776 with 23 runs scored, 17 RBI and three steals. Start him every day.
