Ronald Acuna Jr. Continues Homer Streak
2 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. homered in his third straight game on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough in the team's 7-4 loss to the Texas Rangers. Acuna finished the game 2-for-4 with a solo shot and a run scored to raise his average to .348 on the season. In addition to going deep in three straight games, the 25-year-old superstar has a modest seven-game hitting streak. Acuna now leads the league in runs scored (38), hits (57), stolen bases (17), slugging percentage (.604), OPS (1.041), OPS+ (179) and total bases (99) through 42 games played in 2023. There's really nothing he can't do, and he's an obvious must-start in all fantasy lineups moving forward. Acuna is hitting .339 with six home runs, four stolen bases and 12 RBI in 15 games so far in May.
