Robin Lehner Blanks Visiting Coyotes

New York Islanders goaltender Robin Lehner turned aside all 31 shots he faced in Sunday's 2-0 home shutout against the Arizona Coyotes. Amazingly, he improved to 22-12-5 with a 2.17 goals-against average, .928 save percentage and five shutouts across 39 starts and 42 games, while Thomas Greiss has a 22-13-2 record, 2.29 GAA, .926 save percentage and five shutouts over 37 starts and 41 appearances. The offense has been serviceable, but head coach Barry Trotz's leadership and the amazingly play of both goaltenders is why the Islanders are headed to the postseason in the post-John Tavares Era.
