Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche (knee) was arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license on June 6, according to a police report, and again on June 12 for traffic-related offenses. The first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft has been a disappointment, and he is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Week 14, so he is expected to miss the start of the 2019 season. The team declined the fifth-year option on his rookie contract back in May, so he'll be an unrestricted free agent after the 2019 season. Perhaps a potential payday next offseason will spur him on to his best season yet. He isn't off to a very good start in that pursuit, however.--Daniel DobishRead More News
