Robby Snelling Shines Again at Triple-A
Robby Snelling continued his strong start at Triple-A on Saturday, striking out 11 and generating 24 whiffs over six innings in a 3-0 loss to Durham. The 21-year-old left-hander allowed just two runs, both solo homers, while flashing a fastball that sat comfortably between 95 and 97 mph. Since his promotion to Jacksonville, Snelling has posted a 2.30 ERA with 16 strikeouts across 15 2/3 innings. With advanced poise, swing-and-miss stuff, and a fastball that plays at the top of the zone, Snelling is making a case for a late-season MLB debut.
