Rob Gronkowski Looking Leaner
7 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is down to 260 pounds after typically playing at 265 pounds, and he's been working out at TB12, continuing his mission with trainer Alex Guerrero after his multitude of injuries in recent seasons. However, head coach Bill Belichick openly chastised Gronk for being a TB12 client, according to a source. It may have been the head coach's way of trying to keep other players from jumping ship on the team's training staff. Gronkowski only missed two games in 2017 (one due to suspension) and had 69 catches for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns, so he remains an elite top-tier fantasy tight end as long as he's healthy. There appears to be some tension between Gronk and Belichick, but we'd expect that to blow over as the season approaches. Gronkowski should once again be one of the first tight ends off the board early in fantasy drafts as long as quarterback Tom Brady is throwing to him.
