Rob Gronkowski Adjusting To Florida Heat
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski, who is returning to the NFL after an 18-month hiatus, is struggling a bit in training camp in the Florida heat. "He's probably in New England shape, but he's not in Florida shape. That humidity and heat's kicking his a-- pretty good," head coach Bruce Arians said. We wouldn't read too much into it, as Gronk is still one of the most physically imposing tight ends in the league, even if he has lost a step or two. And he still has four weeks to get into better shape before the start of the regular season. Gronkowski reunites with Hall of Fame lock Tom Brady and should be seen as a low-end TE1, but the presence of O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate will keep Gronk's ceiling lower than it's been in the past.
