River Ryan Struggles In Season Debut
6 months agoAfter beginning the year on the 60-day injured list with shoulder fatigue, Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect River Ryan was activated and made his season debut on Saturday. Ryan started the game, but struggled in his 2/3 of an inning by allowing three hits, two runs and one walk. Ryan was likely on a pitch count and exited after tossing 33 pitches. As one of the top arms in one of the best systems in baseball, the Dodgers are almost certain to take it easy with Ryan the rest of the way. Although he has a bright future ahead of him, Ryan is only an option in dynasty leagues.
