2 years agoToronto Blue Jays left-hander Ricky Tiedemann was named the team's Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2022. The 20-year-old southpaw dominated at three different levels this year, finishing with a combined 5-4 record, 2.17 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, 117 strikeouts and 29 walks in 78 2/3 innings over 18 starts with Single-A Dunedin, High-A Vancouver and Double-A New Hampshire. He is the team's top prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and has put himself in the conversation as one of the best young pitchers in the game. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder made physical gains this year that led to a jump in velocity.
