Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Puts On A Show
4 years agoStarting 20th, JTG Daugherty Racing's Ricky Stenhouse Jr. rewarded fantasy players who didn't shy away from his boom-or-bust style of racing in Monday's GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Stenhouse and race-winner Ryan Blaney were separated by a mere .007 seconds in a chaotic finish that had both cars bouncing off of each other on their way to the checkered flag. The runner-up finish also earned Stenhouse the second-highest place differential of the race and was complemented by a Stage 2 win for the No. 47 team. Stenhouse also recorded 340 quality passes en route to a 109.1 driver rating on the day. This was Stenhouse's finest performance of the season, and one they will look to build on as the Cup Series heads to Pocono Raceway.
